Customs Issues and Procedures

Applying international trade procedures to the movement of commercial goods into and out of Canada is critical for building resilient global supply chains. Students examine key legislation, regulatory requirements, and essential customs documentation. Students develop technical skills in tariff classification, customs valuation, and rules of origin to ensure accurate duty and tax application. Learners also explore current reporting systems, release options, and professional standards of effective customs and trade compliance.

Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Post-Degree Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics.
