Langara students have the opportunity to participate as exchange students in the Japanese Experience Program (JEP Program) at Ryukoku University in Kyoto, Japan. This program runs in the fall and spring semesters. Space is limited to one or two students per semester.

About Exchange

An exchange gives you the opportunity to study for one semester at a university or college that has an exchange agreement with Langara College. As an exchange student, you will pay tuition to Langara College and transfer the credits you earn back to your Langara transcript. (Note: The granting of transfer credit will depend on which courses you take at Ryukoku. Any transfer credits granted by Langara may not be transferable to other Canadian institutions.)

The exchange will be one semester long. The fall semester runs from September to January and the spring semester runs from April to August (exact dates for each semester to be confirmed). Students need to arrive in Japan for an orientation/registration week before classes begin.
