Langara College invites youth from around the world to join us in Vancouver for an unforgettable two-week summer experience. Our Discovery Camps give students the chance to explore pre-college science and leadership programs, meet peers from across the globe, take part in activities that showcase the best of Vancouver, and get a first-hand glimpse of what their future as a student in Canada could look like.

What is the 2026 Discovery Program?
In summer 2026 from July 26 to August 8, the Langara College Science and Global Leadership Discovery Program will be a 2-week program that offers students academic exploration in the subject of science, with experiential learning to provide an experience of the academic sciences at a post-secondary level, all taught by Langara College science instructors. The program will also offer experiences for young learners to grow their leadership skills and set the foundation for them to be the global leaders of tomorrow.
You will receive:
Academic and cultural experiences
Students enjoy two full-day excursions per week, evening activities, and a vibrant community of global peers. You will hike scenic trails, visit cultural landmarks, and play team-building games. Every moment is designed to inspire and connect.
Global exposure
Experience life in Vancouver, British Columbia, one of the world’s most livable cities, while exploring future academic pathways in Canada.
Engaging daily schedule
Each 2-week program includes six (6) hours of daily programming, blending recreation with academic exploration and enriching experiences.
All-inclusive package
From the moment students arrive in Vancouver they’re fully supported with:
- Airport pick-up and drop-off
- Student residence near campus
- Three nutritious meals daily + evening snacks
- 24-hour chaperone supervision, building security and support staff
- Onsite laundry
- High speed wifi
- Emergency medical insurance (Guard Me)*
*note: GuardMe insurance is active once the student arrives in Canada. Please ensure you have additional travel insurance for travel to and from Canada.

What are the entry requirements?
We will be hosting students from across the world. To ensure everyone has the best experience, we will be asking students to provide an English language competency test so we can group students together with similar language skills and tailor the curriculum accordingly.
The Langara Discovery Program is open to students with a minimum of IELTS 4.5 or equivalent.
