Description
MET uses muscular contractions as a way of lengthening tight muscle, strengthening weak muscle and gently mobilizing joints to relieve muscular tension and tissue congestion. This introductory course will present the principles and concepts of MET and allow you to practice this modality under the guidance of an experienced instructor. At the end of this course you will be able demonstrate basic techniques and explain the physiologic mechanisms of MET.Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy.
