Managing complex ethical, professional, and relational issues is critical to the success of the Registered Massage Therapy Practice. Building on prior learning, students apply structured ethical reasoning to communication, maintenance of boundaries, power dynamics, and person-centered care. Topics include transference, countertransference, sexuality-related boundary issues, and responses to crisis, grief, and end-of-life situations. Emphasis is placed on scope of practice, referral decisions, and ethical, safe, and professional clinical judgment.

Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy.
