Neuropathology 1

This course will introduce you to pathologies of the central nervous system. You will study the physiological response of the CNS to injury and will be discussing the causes and progression of conditions such as Meningitis, Epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, and Stroke (ischemic, hemorrhages). At the end of this course you will be able to explain in general terms how the central nervous system responds to trauma and degeneration, and discuss strategies that can be adopted when managing persons with CNS disorders.

Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy.
