Scars, bursitis, contusions, ligament sprains, and muscular strains are some of the orthopedic conditions discussed in this class. Your instructor will demonstrate and discuss with you how to apply and integrate specific manual techniques in the care management of the above systemic complaints. Case studies will challenge your clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills. At the end of this course you will be able to develop a safe and effective care management strategy for general orthopedic conditions.

Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy.
