Building Service Worker Training-Recreation

This course is designed for people already working in the field of Recreation, Parks,and Leisure Services. It will cover the custodial skills necessary to work safely and efficiently in Recreation facilities. Topics include: attitudes for success, cleaning procedures, WHMIS review, blood-borne pathogen safety, ground rules for custodians, cleaning chemistry, glass and mirror cleaning, and working under supervision. The course includes theory and practical demonstration of techniques and a written exam.
A certificate from the RFABC will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
