Laser and Energy Devices

This module provides a detailed description of laser and light therapy including the foundational science of light-based therapies. Therapies covered will include Pulsed Light Therapy, Non Ablative and Ablative Resurfacing, Radiofrequency and Photodynamic Therapy. You will learn about the safety of operating light-based medical devices, their indications and contraindications, such as medications and medical conditions. Extensive hands-on training in this module will give you the knowledge you need to effectively perform and apply Laser, Pulsed Light, and Radiofrequency treatments.
