Description
To demonstrate complete understanding of the concepts taught in the HSEC program and how to implement skills learned, students will be expected to deliver an applied project show-casing all they have learned. They will research an industry, evaluate accidents, the type of accidents, what kind of training is in place, etc, and develop their own strategy for managing emergencies. They will design a worker safety-training program that covers common accidents in the workplace. This project will take all term and will culminate in a presentation of the industry and the training program.Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Post-Degree Diploma in Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance.
