Description
Students will explore the art of storytelling through poetry, fiction, and other literary forms. In this course, students examine techniques and tools specific to at least three genres, honing their unique voice as both writer and reader. Through guided workshops, peer feedback, and close readings of exemplary works, they will sharpen their craft and develop a critical lens for revision. Students will complete a portfolio of revised work that demonstrates their growth across multiple genres.

Prerequisite(s): One of the following: LET 3; a minimum 70% in English First Peoples 12, English Studies 12, Literary Studies 12, or equivalent; an "S" grade in ENGL 1107, 1108, or 1110; or a minimum "C" grade in three credits of university-transferable English.
