Description
Music is one of the most essential parts of a movie with its ability to create mood or a particular atmosphere. This course teaches students the fundamentals of scoring for visuals (film, television, commercials, Web, theater, etc). Using Reason and Cubase, students will work on scenes from movies, TV and commercials to enhance the scenes. Choosing the right musical style, musical score versus sound scape (soundtrack), and basic orchestration will all be discussed and applied.

Note: Students must bring their own headphones (1/4" jack). Course held at 601 West Broadway
