Understanding Dental Insurance

Dental receptionists need to have a good understanding of dental insurance and the differences in the types of coverage offered in many dental plans. Participants will learn about limits, dual insurance, pre-authorization, the various types of insurance, treatment estimates and claims, electronic submission, appealing rejections, assignment vs. non-assignment, and provide guidance to patients in how claims work, what can be claimed, etc.
