Beekeeping Practice

This course is an opportunity for students who have already completed the Certificate in Sustainable Urban Beekeeping to refine their skills and become more comfortable handling bees and working in an apiary. An important part of beekeeping is the art of anticipation, knowing where the bees are headed and learning how to read the bees. This is an opportunity for students to gain additional practice in the hives. Prerequisite: Completion of Langara Sustainable Urban Beekeeping Certificate or permission of the instructor.
