Course Description

Students will work a minimum of 120 hours at a selected site or sites and will gain practical experience working in an entry level capacity. Two to three workshops (given either in class or online) will be conducted at the beginning of term reviewing expectations for the practicum, resumes and interview skills. Graded S/U.

Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diplomas in Library and Information Technology, Library and Information Technology (Flexible Participation Option), and Library and Information Technology (BBA Transfer Option).

Prerequisite(s): An "S" grade in LIBR 1219; and a minimum "C-" grade in all of the following: LIBR 2328, 2411, 2416, and 2418 (LIBR 2328 and 2416 may be taken concurrently).
