Join us for the first-ever Langara Clothing Swap on July 14 and 15. A fun, free, and eco-friendly way to refresh your wardrobe while supporting sustainable textile use! Enjoy live music and refreshments while you find your next outfit! This event welcomes students, staff, and faculty to exchange previously loved clothing and accessories. From t-shirts and pants to shoes and hats, bring your fits to where the fun is at!
Enter a prize draw by dropping off your items during the collection days (July 8, 9, and 13). Every donation submitted during the collection days will be entered for a chance to win a special prize!
How to works
It is a simple one-to-one swap. Bring up to 15 items that you would happily pass along to a friend. For every piece you contribute, you can take home another. Clothing and accessories with obvious stains, holes, or other damage will not be accepted. Whether you’re decluttering your closet, discovering a new style, or connecting with your fellow Langara community, this event is all about reducing textile waste in the best way possible!
Every Item Comes with a Story
Participants will be prompted to write down the memories associated with the item they are bringing in on memory tags. For every memory tag that you write, you will be entered into a prize draw for an exciting prize! Take home new clothes and a story.
