Join us on November 27 for a bioinformatics seminar with Nava Meadi and Owen Coelho.
Nava Meadi is a bioinformatics intern at GenXys Health Care System, a company specializing in pharmacogenomics–the study of how a person's genes influence their response to medications.
During his co-op term, Owen Coelho worked with BC Cancer's Michael Smith Genome Science Centre's Data-sharing Applications Team on several high-impact projects. His primary focus was the development of the CTIMS (clinical trial integrated management system), which is a tool designed to streamline patient trial matching.
