The Creative Arts & Industries Open House

Langara College is thrilled to announce that our Creative Arts & Industries Open House is back in person again!
Interested in a career in the creative arts? Our hands-on, intensive programs offer practical theory and training in diverse areas of industries like journalism, photography, design, fine arts, film, theatre, and web and mobile app development.
Join us for in-person studio and lab tours, program demos and live info sessions. Meet and talk to current students, instructors and staff. Admissions and recruitment staff will be on hand to answer all your questions and help you decide if Langara is right for you.
Sessions are free and everyone is welcome!
This year, we are pleased to have MAKERSPACE joining us at the Open House for a demo/showcase in the A Building Foyer from 2–5 pm. Learn about carving, 3D printing, laser cutting, free workshops, and more!

Langara's two-year diploma is known as the top professional photography program in Western Canada. We provide hands-on, comprehensive, studio-based training for a career in the photographic industry. Come see our student's work and meet instructors.

Studio tour: meet at Buffalo Lounge

Meet and greet with our faculty, staff and current Fine Arts students. Get a look inside our painting, drawing, sculpture, public art, carving, design, printmaking and ceramics studios, and ask questions about the Fine Arts program.

Come see our studio space and learn about the Design Formation Program. We look forward to telling you about our multidisciplinary design curriculum, faculty, and facilities, as well as showing you examples of student work. We will also go over all the steps that are needed to apply to the program. Bring questions!

A life in the theatre awaits! Learn more about Studio 58/Theatre Arts at our in-person tour and info session, featuring current students, faculty, and staff. Get an overview of the Acting & Production programs, watch past performances, and ask all your questions.

Lights, Camera, Action! Join us and some all-star alumni from each stream of the program (writing, acting and directing) as they show scenes from their films and answer questions about what it’s really like in the program and industry at large.
