We are looking forward to the start of Fall Semester this week. Students who need to come to campus at any point this semester must complete Langara’s Health & Safety - COVID-19 Safety Awareness beforehand. This includes students who attend in-person classes or accessing the campus for other reasons, such as bookstore pickup.

How to complete Health and Safety training

Students who are attending on-campus courses can access the safety training within their Brightspace account. The training includes a video and a companion quiz that take approximately 25 mins to complete).

If you will be on campus for courses on Tuesday or Wednesday this week, you should complete your Health and Safety Awareness Training and quiz by the end of Wednesday, September 9.

If you are attending on-campus classes on Thursday, September 10 or later, you should complete the quiz before you come to class.

  • Regular studies students will have access to your Brightspace course starting tonight, at 12:01 am on September 8th
  • Continuing studies students will have access to your Brightspace course on the first day of your classes

Please note that you are also expected to complete the Thrive BC Daily Symptom Checklist each time you come to campus.
