Description
This course is an introductory exploration of the technical components of
computer graphics as a technology and a creative medium, for use in a 2D and 3D Animation environment.
Through the use of the industry standard software, Adobe Photoshop, students learn the technical
fundamentals of working with raster editing software for the creation of 3D animation matte painting as a
tool for creating work in both a 2D and 3D animation environment.
Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in 2D Animation and Digital Art, Diploma in 2D Technologies for Film & Games, Diploma in 3D Animation for Game, Film and Visual Effects, and the Diploma in 3D Technologies for Film & Games.
