Marg Heldman
Margaret Heldman is the Interim Provost and Vice-President, Academic at Langara College. She provides leadership for academic planning, program quality, and strategic academic initiatives. A long time Langara employee, she has served as a Chemistry Instructor, Department Chair, Division Chair, the College’s first Dean of Science, Associate Vice-President, Academic, and Interim Vice-President, Academic. She led the development of the Academic Plan Kaleidoscope and has supported initiatives that strengthen teaching, learning, and student success.
Margaret contributes to the post-secondary sector through her work with CICan’s Leadership Institute for Managers and BCCAT’s Transfer and Articulation Committee. She has served as Chair of BC’s Applied Research and Innovation Network since 2015. She holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from McGill University.
