Diwali marks the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. Common to celebrations from around the world is the lighting of diyas, candles and lanterns, the enjoyment of grand feasts, and the coming together of family and friends to celebrate new beginnings.
Langara Global and the Langara Students’ Union invite all students, faculty, and staff to celebrate Diwali – a festival of lights and an important cultural celebration to many around the world!
Join Langara Global from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in the A Building Main Foyer for an afternoon filled with festive fun, creativity, and cultural activities, including:
- Diwali crafts
- Diya painting
- Festive snacks
- Henna art
- Making Rangoli
