Digital Music Production Workshops
Digital Music Production Workshops offer short, focused Continuing Studies training opportunities. Learn how to use industry-standard music production tools by attending these sessions.
Ableton Live Workshop
Ableton Live is an award-winning music production and DJ software. It serves both as a tool for composing, recording, and mixing, and as an instrument for live performance. Alongside its traditional linear arrangement window, it offers the unique Session View—a flexible environment for creating and improvising without the constraints of a timeline.
This workshop introduces the fundamentals of music production, sound design, and laptop performance. Participants will explore MIDI sequencing, virtual instruments, and sound design with Live’s built-in tools and effects. You will also learn how to record, edit, and process audio, and how to build custom templates for live performance.
The next Ableton Live workshop is scheduled for Spring 2026.
