Scot is a regular faculty member in the Design Formation program. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, he has taught at Emily Carr University, Western Washington University, and, since 2009, Langara College. His teaching spans communication design, architecture, interior design, and exhibit design.

In addition to teaching, Scot is a Senior Associate at Lost & Found Design, an award-winning design studio based in Vancouver, where his practice focuses on exhibit design, wayfinding, and placemaking. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
