Reza Etemadi is a faculty member at Langara College, where he has been teaching since 2018. He brings over 10 years of post-secondary teaching experience and more than 20 years of software engineering experience. He teaches courses in web development, object-oriented programming, AI-powered application development, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) in Cybersecurity, with a focus on hands-on, project-based learning that prepares students for industry.

Throughout his industry career, he has led enterprise software projects, mentored development teams, and designed secure, scalable cloud and web applications. He holds a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal and has completed the Google Project Management Certificate.

He is passionate about helping learners build practical technical skills, gain confidence through real-world projects, and stay current with emerging technologies, including cloud computing, AI, and secure modern software development practices.
