Joey Hartman

Joey Hartman retired as President of the Vancouver & District Labour Council in February 2018. A respected community and social justice advocate, she currently serves on the Boards of Pacific Blue Cross, the BC Labour Heritage Centre, the Mayne Island Improvement District and the SFU Labour Studies Advisory Committee. She has extensive governance experience, having previously served with Vancouver Community College, the United Way and the Council of Canadians. She holds a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Capilano College.
