Jess Maitland
Jess Maitland (she/her) is a consultant, educator, and higher education professional with nearly 20 years of experience working across post-secondary education in British Columbia. Throughout her career, she has led and supported work in organizational development, business transformation, program and curriculum development, continuing education, governance, enrolment and student services, and strategic planning.
Jess's experience and interests include building and developing teams, coaching and mentoring employees, supporting emerging leaders, and creating collaborative and high-performing workplace cultures. She brings a practical understanding of the opportunities and challenges that come with managing people, navigating change, and leading diverse teams. As the founder of Maitland Consulting Inc., Jess works with organizations to navigate change, improve how they work, and turn ideas into practical solutions.
Jess holds a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, and Masters of Educational Leadership. Jess continues to build her practice through continuing education and ongoing learning in curriculum, leadership, and equine-assisted learning.
