David Alba

David Alba is an architectural designer and instructor in the Design Formation program at Langara College, where he joined the faculty in 2024. His background spans digital fabrication, experiential design and architectural practice, with work completed across Canada, Europe and Africa. His teaching centres on hands-on exploration and a rigorous design process, with a particular interest in how design supports community wellbeing and shapes experiences worth remembering. David holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Environmental Design with Honours from the University of British Columbia.
