Dave Savard

Dave Savard joined Design Formation in 2023 as an instructor, and currently serves as Program Coordinator for Digital Media & Design. He brings over three decades of experience as an art director and designer. He has worked with some of the leading design studios across North America, serving clients ranging from major corporations to local businesses, as well as co-founding two creative studios of his own. His teaching spans from Web Design Fundamentals through UX/UI development, Visual Storytelling, and Design Thinking. He holds a Fine Arts degree, studied Communication Arts at Laval University, and completed a Master Certificate in Writing and Producing Music from Berklee. Dave draws on a lifelong design and art practice that fuels a multidisciplinary approach to innovation and creative problem-solving. It's this convergence of perspectives that he brings into the classroom, helping students see design not as an isolated skill but as a way of making connections and solving problems.
