Description:
Objective of the Agreement
Capilano University and Langara College hold a shared interest in strengthening institutional collaboration, to the end of facilitating student mobility between institutions and providing them with the opportunity to seamlessly further their academic goals. To this end, Capilano University agrees to offer guaranteed admission for Langara College students who have completed the requirements for the Associate of Arts (Psychology) into the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology program.
Capilano University agrees to accept students who have completed the Associate of Arts (Psychology) Degree with a minimum GPA of 2.0 directly into the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology with the requirement that;
- Because completion of PSYC 225 or 230 is an admission requirement for third-year entry to the Capilano University BA Psych program streams, one or the other needs to be completed either prior to transfer (at Langara PSYC 2331 or PSYC 2341) or following admission to Capilano U, and counted once as per the program details below.
- To apply credits from the Langara College Associate of Arts in Psychology Degree toward Capilano program requirements in accordance with the following tables:

| *Langara students must complete either PSYC 2331 or 2341 prior to transfer or PSYC 225 or 230 at Capilano following transfer. Students having completed PSYC 2331 at Langara may have the credits counted towards the requirement of one of the following: Science, PSYC 230/225, or towards other 200 level PSYC credits. **Additional Psychology courses used to fulfill Langara Arts or Elective requirements may be applied to Capilano Psychology Degree requirements. Courses in other areas (such as languages) may also fulfill degree requirements as deemed appropriate by the Capilano Transfer Credit Office. | ||
