Sending your child abroad for high school is a big decision. You want to know they are safe, supported, and surrounded by people who care about their success and well-being. Langara Homestay works closely with students, host families, schools, and parents to ensure students have the guidance and support they need to thrive while studying away from home.

A caring home with trusted support

When custodianship is requested, our qualified host families can take on this responsibility, providing daily supervision, guidance, and support as part of their role in the student’s life. Because students live with their host family, they benefit from having someone nearby who understands their needs and can provide ongoing care and assistance.

A connection between home and school

Our team helps create a strong support network by connecting students, host families, school board representatives, agents, and parents. We facilitate communication, share important updates, and help address concerns early through a collaborative, student-centred approach.

Peace of mind for parents

When your child studies abroad, having the right support system matters. Langara Homestay helps families feel confident knowing their child has a safe place to live, caring people around them, and a team that stays connected throughout their journey.

Our host families provide more than a room and meals. They offer a welcoming home environment where students can receive daily guidance, adjust to a new culture, and build a sense of belonging. Our Homestay team works alongside families, schools, and host families to ensure communication remains open and concerns are addressed with care.

Parents can feel reassured knowing that:

  • Their child has a supportive home environment with a caring host family.
  • Host families can provide daily supervision, guidance, and support when custodianship is requested.
  • Our team remains a trusted connection between home, school, and the student.
  • Any concerns are identified early and managed through a collaborative, student-centred approach.

With Langara Homestay, your child is not navigating their international experience alone. They have a community of support helping them succeed, both academically and personally.
