Pets are not permitted inside campus buildings or unattended on College grounds, including in vehicles. Remember that leaving a pet in a vehicle is dangerous, even with the air conditioning on. Please be pet-smart: leave your pets at home.

By law, guide dogs and service dogs are always permitted on campus.

Service Dogs Guidelines

Service Dog Etiquette

Dos and Don'ts for interacting with service dogs.

Service dogs (aka guide dogs, hearing dogs, or signal dogs) are highly trained animals that assist with the mobility, safety, and overall independence of individuals with disabilities. They usually wear vests to identify them as working dogs.

Only touch a service dog if you have received permission from the handler.

Whether harnessed or unharnessed, they are considered to be working and should not be distracted. Approaching a service dog could endanger both the safety of the service dog and the handler. Please act appropriately.
