Co-op and Career Week 2026 | Making Connections

March 9–12, 2026

Join us for a week of opportunities to meet employers, alumni and industry associations to learn about your college to career journey. Come to career workshops to update your resume, LinkedIn and attend events. Co-op and Career Week (CCW) is brought to you by the Co-op & Career Development Centre (CCDC) and is in celebration of March CEWIL Co-op and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) month.

Students can expect to:

  • Practice your networking skills by connecting with employers and alumni
  • Enhance your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and interview skills
  • Share your career story, build your professional connections, and enter a prize draw

Monday, March 9 – Career Talks: Criminal Justice

Monday March 9 | 1:30 pm–3:30 pm | T Building Gallery

Considering a career in Corrections Officer, Court Reporter, Criminologist, Law Enforcement/Police Officer, Legal Investigator, Insurance Investigator, Policy Analyst, or Social Service Worker? Join us for this Career Talk to learn more about the day in the life of public service work and the recruitment process working in the private and public sectors.

A panel talk of designated speakers to talk about their career journey in Criminal Justice. The talk includes skills for the workforce, a day in the life of your work, and tips you have for students considering a career in Criminal Justice.

Learn how to refine your resume and cover letter and practice your interview skills.

Wednesday, March 11 – Career Fair (Postponed)

Join us at the Get Connected – Alumni & Student Career Networking Event and meet Langara Alumni from a variety of program areas. This event brings together alumni and current students for an evening of meaningful networking and conversation. Alumni will reconnect with their classmates, share their college-to-career journeys, while students will have the opportunity to build connections and learn from industry insights and alumni advice.

  • Learn what skills helped alumni succeed in their careers
  • Build meaningful connections with alumni who have successfully transitioned from college to career

  • Capture memories at our photo corner, brought to you by the Professional Photography Program Students
  • Enjoy light refreshments and enter for a prize draw
