Description
Students consider various ethical and other challenges faced by professionals in the fields of justice and law. Students delve into the complex relationships with clients, the public, the government, employers, and other professionals. They examine how professional codes of conduct, along with government and legal regulations, guide these interactions. Students consider topics such as confidentiality, conflicts of interest and duty, ethics in research and in decision-making, and the use and abuse of power.

Priority registration in this course is offered to students admitted to the Diploma in Criminal Justice, Diploma in Criminal Justice (BBA Transfer Option), and Diploma in Criminology.
