Description
Advanced analytical tasks in scientific and industrial setting require essential laboratory skills to ensure accuracy and reliability. Students perform efficient calibration checks on basic laboratory equipment, master the use and precise reading of analytical glassware, and gain proficiency in preparing reagents, buffers, standards, and reference materials. Learners also use pipettes and serial dilutions to meet stringent precision requirements and prepare for advanced analytical tasks in various laboratory settings.
Prerequisite(s): One of the following: a minimum "C+" grade in CHEM 1114 or Chemistry 11, a minimum "C" grade in Chemistry 12, or permission of the department.
