The tentative cost of the program is $3395*, though this may still be adjusted. 

*Applications received by Jan 16, 2023 (the Early Bird deadline) will receive $200 off the final fee (tentative cost: $3195*).

* Note that all successful applicants are eligible to a $1500 Langara Global Award (subject to approval of award application form). This amount can be used toward the above program fee.

The program includes the following:

• Unique accommodation at a convent close to the heart of historic Rome (23 nights)
• Daily light breakfast
• Public transportation around Rome
• All entrances to required educational activities
• Welcome and farewell dinners

and excludes the following:

• Airfare (international and domestic), including airport taxes
• Tuition and registration fees for Langara College
• Textbooks
• Most lunches and dinners
• Health and travel insurance, including COVID or any other supplementary insurance
• Other daily expenses, such as non-group meals, personal spending money, laundry, entertainment fees and local transportation that are not part of the itinerary
• Activities on free days
• Entrances to optional activities
• Additional personal travel after the program ends
• Application fees for passport and visa (if required).  Those holding foreign passports are strongly urged to confirm their visa requirements

Deadlines

• Application deadline: February 15, 2023 (Early Bird discount: save $200 if you apply by January 16th, 2023!)
• The remaining balance of the program fees must be paid by March 15, 2023. Tuition and student union fees must also be paid to Langara College.

*The cost of the program is subject to change because of changes in the program itinerary or uncontrollable circumstances such as fluctuating exchange rates. All fees are non-refundable except when Langara College cancels the program. Langara College reserves the right to cancel any program without penalty or liability.

Financial Assistance

All students accepted into the program will receive a $1500 award towards the program fee from Langara Global.  (subject to approval of award application form). Contact us for more info.

Students may also qualify for generous study abroad scholarships and/or student loans. Several students in previous European Field Studies programs were awarded full scholarships.
