Join Langara’s C-Change program for a hands-on volunteer day with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks!
On Wednesday, October 14, join others and head to Delta Heritage Air Park (Boundary Bay) to support habitat restoration by grubbing out invasive blackberry roots.
While transportation is provided, please note space is limited. You must confirm your availability, otherwise, your spot will be offered to someone else.
Event schedule
9:00 AM Check in at Langara (Room A140)
9:15 AM Board the bus and travel to the Delta Heritage Air Park (Boundary Bay)
10:00 AM Arrive on-site and walk to the restoration area
10:15 AM Volunteer orientation and safety briefing
10:30 AM Restoration work
11:30 AM Refreshment break (please bring your own food; we'll supply light snacks and water)
11:45 AM Continue restoration work and site clean-up
12:30 PM Education component and wrap-up
12:45 PM Return trip to Langara
1:30 PM Arrive back at Langara
