Description
Safety professionals must develop the knowledge, skills, and judgment to effectively lead and support workplace incident investigations. Students learn to use structured methodologies to identify root and contributing causes, assess risk controls, and develop evidence-based corrective and preventive actions. Incident Investigation and Management integrates legislative requirements, reporting standards, financial-impact considerations, and due-diligence principles while emphasizing practical application, defensible documentation, systems thinking, and leadership accountability to strengthen organizational resilience.

Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Post-Degree Diploma in Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance.
