CICan Paul and Gerri Charette Bursary Program

The Colleges and Institutes Canada Paul and Gerri Charette Bursary Program provides financial support to college and institute students who demonstrate financial need and face challenges or barriers to participating in and completing post-secondary education. Students attending colleges or institutes in rural, remote, or northern areas will be given preference for bursaries of up to $5,000 each. Students interested in being considered for Langara’s nomination for the Fall 2026 semester must submit the following by the extended application deadline: Friday, October 16, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

• A completed Fall 2026 Bursary Application
• Required student essays
• Letters of support

Essays and letters of support should be emailed to finaid [at] langara.ca (finaid[at]langara[dot]ca).

Financial Aid will review all completed submissions and select a nominee. The selected student will receive an endorsement letter from Langara to include with their application to CICan.
