Srikrishna is a UBC graduate, and holds certificates in Multimedia & Web Development as well as Inernet Professional. Working as a programmer in various languages, Srikrishna enjoys sharing his knowledge with those who wish to enter the dynamic and exciting world of the Internet.
Raymond has over 16 years experience in the high tech sector and specializes in graphic/web design, animation and multimedia. He has been teaching for 11 years and has been with Langara since 2003. Raymond is a popular instructor who has the innate ability to breakdown complex procedures into simple terms that students are able to grasp and understand. He also serves as the Program Coordinator for the Computer Technology program.
Known as an inter-generational communications specialist, Marie presents and consults internationally on the topics of Millenials (Gen Y), social media, online branding, and improving the overall two-way communications experience.
Holding an MA in Professional Communications, Marie is an avid supporter of life-long learning and has professionally dedicated over ten years to supporting others in reaching their learning goals.
Gabriel is a certified IT professional and has a unique background in business, computers, and psychology. With a passion for technology, a strong dedication to lifelong learning, and a belief in social and political involvement, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and collaborating with others.
Jennifer has worked in the graphic design industry for over 10 years. She has a diploma in Graphic Communications from VCC and graduated with 3 web certificates from Langara, Continuing Studies. As a freelancer, she frequently works with Adobe PDFs and checks them before they go to print or are uploaded to the web. She enjoys talking about Adobe Software and her interests include: writing, illustration, and working on her websites.
Andy is a graphic & website designer, technical consultant and online marketing specialist. His background includes ten years of education in computer science, digital art and music. His professional experience started in 1996, and he currently teaches at two local colleges and works as a freelance designer.
Arlene holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from UBC and writes a weekly column for the Richmond Review and is a contributor to Edible Vancouver magazine and other publications. As a publicist, she writes newsletters, web content, blogs, and press releases for her clients.
Marcus has been employed as an IT Professional since 1994 and has been a instructor at Langara since 1999. He began teaching office and accounting software but now focuses mainly on creative and web design applications. When Marcus is not teaching for CS, he can be found facilitating many of the Professional Development Days and custom workshops for the LEDC (Langara Employee Development Committee).
David is a Database Applications and Systems Administrator, for the Justice Institute of BC. He has been working in IT for more than 16 years and has been a technical trainer for over 10 years. As a Systems Administrator, he specializes in database design and develops web applications. David holds a MSc, BSc in Computer Science and is a Microsoft Certified Master. When he is not in front of his dual-monitor-computer he can be found hiking and spending time with his family and friends.
