Dr. Rushdi Alsaleh

Dr. Rushdi Alsaleh is a Professor, Senior Data Scientist, and expert in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UBC.

With more than 13 years of experience spanning academia, research, industry, and consulting, Dr. Alsaleh has led consulting and applied research projects for the City of Vancouver, City of Kamloops, the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, Vancouver Coastal Health, and Vancouver International Airport (YVR), delivering data-driven solutions to complex operational and strategic challenges. He has authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals, with more than 850 citations and an H-index of 17.

His expertise includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, game theory, robotics, and multi-agent systems. As a Senior Data Scientist and educator, he is committed to advancing AI innovation, applied research, and mentoring the next generation of data scientists.
