Langara’s Journalism program has one of the strongest reputations in Canada and impressive graduate placement rates*. The program prepares students for careers in the media and related fields.

Immerse yourself in the world of new media.

Students in Journalism programs experience the life of a reporter by researching, conducting interviews, writing stories, and shooting photos for the department’s weekly newspaper, The Voice, and its website, The Voice Online. Our students also have the opportunity to write and edit the Langara Journalism Review, an annual magazine covering media issues and personalities in Western Canada.
