Course Description
Creative and flexible feature writing takes readers a step beyond hard news stories, tapping into readers' interests, illuminating real-life characters, and providing meaning and substance with a writer's own style. In this course, students learn how to use a personal tone, deploy different narrative techniques and obtain strong, profound responses from in-depth interviews to produce a long form story. Students also learn ways to market themselves and sell their content to editors and corporate clients.
