Whether you need help with a short-term project, are looking to hire a new grad, or have a tradition of supporting Co-op placements, we’re here to partner with you.
Hire a Student
Have a general job posting for a new grad or part-time student? Visit the C3 Job Board and submit your job posting. All of our students and recent alumni have access to the posting. And it’s always free for employers to post.
Hiring for a Work Term
Looking for a co-op or intern? Our co-op and post-degree diploma students are available for work term placements each semester.
Students have work terms included as part of their academic programs and are ready to integrate their classroom knowledge into the workplace.
Why hire a co-op or intern?
By partnering with us you can:
- Target students with specialized skill sets
- De-risk your hiring process with short-term work before offering full-time employment
- Find students with specialized skillsets for short term projects
- Access a diverse student group, including mature and mid-career level students
- Use wage subsidies and funding to offset the costs of hiring
Flexible Placements to Suit Your Needs
Co-op placements are typically full-time, for four months (420 hour minimum) and follow school semesters: January, May, and September. Some students are also available for eight-month placements or can complete Co-op on a part-time basis.
Have a start date or end date falling outside of the term? No problem – we allow for some flexibility.
Tip: It’s best to post your job up to four months in advance of hiring (e.g. January for the May semester).
Post-degree diploma students generally have work terms at the end of their programs and their work terms are a minimum of 300 hours.
Roles and Responsibilities for Co-op
Co-op hiring is simple – we help with the collection of applications and are here to guide you through the process.
