The Co-op and Career Development Centre brings you Career Talks a series of career panels that will feature experts from a variety of industries. Each panel will focus on a different theme including hiring trends, science & tech, business, and more. These panel talks are open to all registered Langara students and are free to attend.

The Career Talks series has concluded for the Spring 2024 semester. Thank you to the panelists, students, faculty and staff who participated. A special thank you to our Community Partner, RBC, for supporting this event series. This series will return in the Fall 2024 semester.

Talent Acquisition and Hiring Tips Career Talk

Learn about hiring practices in Canada including the hiring process, tips for your resume, cover letter, and interview. This will be a panel discussion with time for networking as well.

Business Career Talk

Speakers from large, medium, and small companies of varying industries will speak to their business operations, departments, and company culture. Discussions will include operations, sales, and projects.

Engineering Career Talk
