Education: Kyle completed his MA and PhD in Psychology at the University of British Columbia, with a specialization in cognitive science. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia after transferring from Langara College.

Teaching interests/courses: Kyle currently teaches courses in Introductory Psychology and Research Methods. He has previously taught Cognition and Health Psychology.

Academic interests: Kyle’s research seeks to understand in what ways health behaviours, including physical activity, diet, and sleep, contribute to cognitive functioning. His work informs on how health factors contribute to everyday experiences of cognition. In addition to teaching at Langara, Kyle is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Fitness, Aging, & Stress Laboratory, University of British Columbia. His research integrates civil engineering, urban planning, kinesiology, and psychology to develop transportation infrastructure design that equitably attracts people to use sustainable modes of travel and fosters positive experiences.

Other: Outside of work, Kyle enjoys cooking, reading, and playing and watching sports.
