Application Process

NOTE: International student application for September 2023 is now closed.

Seats are limited and applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Early application is strongly encouraged to guarantee a spot in the program.  Domestic applications for September 2023, will close June 30, 2023.

Please review our admissions requirements before beginning your application.

Submit Your Application

Your complete application should include:

  1. Application form for domestic or international students. 
  2. Official college or university transcript
  3. Scan of college or university credential (eg. Bachelor's degree)
  4. Copy of Canadian study permit (if applicable)
  5. Demonstration of English-language proficiency
  6. Application fee ($155 International/$40 Domestic)

To expedite the application process, students may submit electronic (scanned) copies of their application form and official documents for preliminary consideration. All scanned documents must be PDF format, in colour, show the entire page, and include both sides (front and back, even if blank) of all pages. Original documents may be requested at any time. Students who fail to provide official documents as requested may have their application canceled, and/or be blocked from further registration.

  • Online through feeportal.langara.ca
  • In person with cheque, Visa or MasterCard - Continuing Studies, A Building

Application Process

  1. Submit your application form along with all supporting documents and your application fee ($155 International / $40 Domestic).
  2. Receive an offer of admission by email after your application is approved and all documents have been verified. Allow approximately 10 business days for processing of your application.
  3. Pay your deposit (tuition fee for the first term) upon acceptance to the program.
  4. Receive a Letter of Acceptance by email. The Letter of Acceptance will be issued after the tuition fees for the first semester had been received in Accounts Payble with can take up to 10 days.
  5. If applicable, apply for a Study Permit at the nearest Canadian embassy or visa office (if applying from overseas).
  6. Report to Langara for your first day of class.

Please note: For international students, street and email address on the application form must be legible. Any application form with incomplete information or missing documents will not be considered. 

Preference will be given to applicants with higher IELTS scores.
