Langara College has implemented changes to the application process for Continuing Studies programs. To apply for our Continuing Studies programs, please use our new Continuing Studies Online Application. We believe this updated process offers a better and more user-friendly application experience, streamlining the application journey for your convenience.

Continuing Studies programs provide flexible study options to get you ready for the work force and advance your career through single courses or complete programs.

Regular Studies programs prepare you for transfer to university or for career opportunities. Visit Regular Studies to apply for these programs.

Once you’ve selected your program from our collection of Continuing Studies programs, follow the steps below to begin your application process.

Apply early.

Programs applications are open year-round. Some programs accept applications on an ongoing basis while other programs are competitive entry. Apply early to avoid disappointment.

Are you applying as an international student? Follow the international application process.

Domestic applicants (Canadian citizens or permanent residents) follow the steps below to submit your application. 

  1. Check admission requirements.

    On your selected program webpage, click the tab for detailed admission requirements and application deadlines.

  2. Apply.

    If applicable, submit your application as instructed on the program page and pay the application fee.

  3. Submit your documents.

    Some programs require additional supporting documents. Upload your documents when you submit your Continuing Studies Online Application. For all admission requirements, please refer to the program page.

  4. Receive and accept your offer.

    Langara sends an Offer of Admission by email. Accept your offer promptly and submit payment of any commitment fees that are due.

  5. Get ready!

    You will receive your course schedule and important information related to your program of studies from your program coordinator. Attend orientation to get to know the College and meet your peers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, the applicant portal can be accessed via your movile device. 

The application system supports Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.

You can upload all of your academic and program requirement documents at the time of application. Please refer to the program page for a detailed list of admission requirements. You can also upload documents after your submit your application and once your account has been created for the Continuing Studies Applicant Portal. You are able to view the required documents for the program by looking at the program website.

Yes, you can come back to the application at a later date and continue working on it. Please be mindful of the application deadlines. Only fully submitted application are reviewed. 

You will be prompted to pay at the end of the Application form.

Langara College accepts Visa and Mastercard for application fee payments.

You can upload additional supporting documents or request to withdraw your application. If you need to change biographical or contact information, please contact the Continuing Studies Registration office via email at or via phone at 604.323.5322.

If you applied to a full-time Continuing Studies program, please login to the Continuing Studies Applicant Portal using the credentials provided to you via email and click on My Applications and then on View Details. The Application Details Window will show the status of your application. If you applied to a part-time Continuing Studies program, please email the program coordinator for information.

If you applied to a full-time Continuing Studies program, after you submit your application, you can log into the Applicant Portal, select "My Applications" and click on the down arrow to the right to select "Submit Withdrawal". If you applied to a part-time Continuing Studies program, please contact via email or via phone at 604.323.5322.

Within one week of applying to a full-time Continuing Studies program, you will receive instructions to login to your account for the Applicant Portal. This is where you can login to check your application status under "My Applications".
