The Langara English Test (LET) assesses students’ ability to read, understand, and write English at the college/university level. The LET scores indicate which first-year English/Communications course students should take, based on their skills and needs.

To meet prerequisite requirements for some courses, you may be required to write a placement or diagnostic test. These tests are designed to assist in placing you in the appropriate course.
