Course Description

CHEM 1120 constitutes a first-year course in general college chemistry. CHEM 1120 covers quantum chemistry, bonding, absorption of energy by molecules, applications of structure and chemistry in society.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1118 with "C-" or Chem 12 with "A" or "B" or successful score on Chemistry Diagnostic Test. In addition, one of MATH 1152 or Precalculus 12 with "C " or MDT 75. Prerequisites are valid for only three years.
